Jay Bray
Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer
Jay Bray was appointed as a member of our board in 2012 and was elected as Chairman in July 2016. He has also served as our Chief Executive Officer since 2012, our President since June 2015 and as our Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from May 2011 to February 2012. In addition, he has served as the President of Nationstar Mortgage LLC, since July 2011, as the Chief Executive Officer of Nationstar Mortgage LLC since October 2011, as the Chief Financial Officer of Nationstar Mortgage LLC from the time he joined Nationstar in May 2000 until September 2012, as a Manager of Nationstar Mortgage LLC since October 2011, and as a Director of another subsidiary, Nationstar Capital Corporation, since March 2010. Mr. Bray has close to 25 years of experience in the mortgage servicing and originations industry. From 1988 to 1994, he worked with Arthur Andersen in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as an audit manager from 1992 to 1994. From 1994 to 2000, Mr. Bray held a variety of leadership roles at Bank of America and predecessor entities, where he managed the Asset Backed Securitization process for mortgage-related products, developed and implemented a secondary execution strategy and profitability plan and managed investment banking relationships, secondary marketing operations and investor relations. Additionally, Mr. Bray led the portfolio acquisition, pricing and modeling group at Bank of America. Mr. Bray holds a B.A.A. in Accounting from Auburn University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Georgia.
Amar R. Patel
Executive Vice President and Interim Chief Financial Officer
Amar R. Patel has served as Nationstar’s Executive Vice President and Interim Chief Financial Officer since March 2017. Mr. Patel has held key leadership positions at Nationstar since joining in 2006, including Executive Vice President of Portfolio Investments and Senior Vice President of Servicing Finance. Prior to joining Nationstar, Mr. Patel held management roles at Capstead Mortgage Corporation, last serving as Senior Vice President of Asset and Liability Management. Mr. Patel holds a B.B.A. in Finance and Mathematics from Baylor University and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University.
Michael Rawls
Executive Vice President, Servicing
Michael Rawls was named Executive Vice President of Servicing in June 2015. Mr. Rawls is responsible for leading Nationstar's loan servicing operations for their traditional mortgage portfolio, as well as the firm’s reverse mortgage portfolio. Since joining the company in 2000, Mr. Rawls has held key positions throughout the servicing line of business, in addition to leadership roles on the lending side of the business. Prior to joining Nationstar, Mr. Rawls served in leadership roles at Banc One Financial Services from 1997 to 1999 and at Household Financial Services from 1991 to 1997. He received a B.A. in Business Management from Virginia Wesleyan College and has over 20 years of expertise in mortgage operations.
Ramesh Lakshminarayanan
Executive Vice President, Chief Business and Analytics Officer
Ramesh Lakshminarayanan joined Nationstar in 2012 as Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. He has over 20 years of experience managing credit risk, with over 10 years of experience in risk management specific to the mortgage industry.In 2017, Mr. Lakshminarayan began serving in his current capacity as Executive Vice President and Chief Business and Analytics Officer where he is responsible for using data and analytics to deliver deeper consumer insights. Prior to joining Nationstar, Mr. Lakshminarayanan worked for JPMorgan Chase from 2006 to December 2011, where he served as Chief Risk Officer Retail/Chief Risk Officer of Chase Home Lending and from January 2012 to June 2012 as Head of Capital Market Operations for Mortgage Banking. From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Lakshminarayanan worked for CitiFinancial as Chief Risk Officer of CitiFinancial Mortgages and from 2004 to 2006 as Group Chief Risk Officer of Consumer Finance North America. Mr. Lakshminarayanan holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Madras Christian College, India, and is a Fellow Member of the Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Mihir Patel
Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer

Mihir Patel joined Nationstar in 2017 as its Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. Prior to joining Nationstar, Mr. Patel worked for Capital One Bank from 2012 to 2016, where he held many senior executive leadership roles specifically related to Enterprise and Operational risk. Prior to 2012 Mihir held senior executive leadership roles at PNC Bank. Prior to entering banking Mihir practiced corporate law at a top tier international law firm. Mr. Patel holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of Washington, a Juris Doctorate from Hamline University School of Law and a Masters of Business Administration from Duquesne University.

Anthony W. Villani
Executive Vice President, General Counsel
Anthony W. Villani has served as Nationstar's Executive Vice President and General Counsel since 2012. He also holds the same position at Nationstar Mortgage LLC, which he joined in October 2011 as an Executive Vice President. Mr. Villani also served as the Company's Secretary from February to August of 2012. Prior to joining Nationstar, Mr. Villani was Vice President and Associate General Counsel of Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he served as the managing attorney for Litton Loan Servicing LP, a Goldman Sachs company, from June 2008 until September 2011. He has also served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of EMC Mortgage Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Bear Stearns Companies Inc. Mr. Villani holds a J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law and a B.S. in Political Science from Arizona State University. Mr. Villani was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 1983 and the Texas Bar in 1989.
Tony Ebers
Executive Vice President, Originations
Tony Ebers joined Nationstar in 2015, bringing twenty-five years of experience from key leadership positions in mortgage lending, servicing and real estate transaction-related services. Most recently, Tony served as the Originations Division President at ServiceLink, a Black Knight Company. Prior to ServiceLink, he served as Executive Vice President of Mortgage Lending and Servicing at OneWest Bank from 2009 to 2015. He also served as an Executive Vice President and COO at IndyMac Bank from 2002 to 2009, managing retail banking, consumer lending, mortgage operations and home loan servicing. Tony holds a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration, Finance and Banking with an emphasis in economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Robert H. Gidel
Robert H. Gidel was appointed to our board in 2012. He serves as a member of the board of directors of DDR Corp., a real estate investment trust. Mr. Gidel has been a principal in Liberty Partners, LLC, a company that invests in both private and publicly-traded real estate and finance focused operating companies, since 1998. Mr. Gidel was President and Chief Executive Officer of Ginn Development Company, LLC, one of the largest privately-held developers of resort communities and private clubs in the Southeast, from 2007 until 2009. He is also a National Association of Corporate Directors Board Leadership Fellow. Mr. Gidel holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance Insurance and Real Estate from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida.
Roy A. Guthrie
Roy A. Guthrie was appointed to our board in 2012. He serves as a member of the board of directors of Lifelock, Inc., OneMain Holdings, Inc., and Synchrony Financial. From 2005 to 2012, he served as Executive Vice President of Discover Financial Services, where he previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Prior to joining Discover Financial Services, Mr. Guthrie was President and Chief Executive Officer of CitiFinancial International, LTD, from 2000 to 2004, and he served on Citigroup’s Management Committee throughout this period. Mr. Guthrie was also Chief Financial Officer of Associates First Capital Corporation from 1996 to 2000, while it was a public company, and he served as a member of its board from 1998 to 2000. Mr. Guthrie holds a B.A. in Economics from Hanover College and an M.B.A. from Drake University.
Brett Hawkins
Brett Hawkins was appointed to our board in 2012. Mr. Hawkins has spent the last 16 years as a digital media and technology entrepreneur focusing on social networking and e-commerce in the movie, music and video game industries and in advising companies in the entertainment, healthcare and charitable industries. He is the founder, CEO and Chairman of edm.me PBC (a privately-held corporation), an internet music social media and curation platform. Previously, he co-founded GGL Global Gaming, a private video game, social networking and digital content distribution platform, in 2004, and served in various executive roles until 2011. He also previously served as Vice President for the Finance of DVDExpress.com, Inc. and President of its successor, Express Media Group, an early e-commerce business selling movies, music and video games from 2000 to 2004. Mr. Hawkins has also held senior management positions at UBS/Warburg Dillon Read, where from 1997 to 1999 he was a Managing Director overseeing European Principal Finance; BlackRock Capital Finance, where from 1996 to 1997 he was Director of European Acquisitions & Operations; Lehman Brothers, where from 1994 to 1996 he was an Executive Director of Lehman Brothers International Europe and from 1993 to 1994 a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers, Inc.; and Salomon Brothers Inc., where from 1988 to 1993 he was a Vice President of Mortgage Trading with responsibility for Whole Loan CMO Business. Mr. Hawkins holds a B.B.A. in Finance and an M.B.A. in Finance, both from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Michael D. Malone
Michael D. Malone was appointed to our board in 2012. He serves as a member of the board of directors of Walker & Dunlop, Inc. Co and New Senior Investment Group. Mr. Malone is the former Managing Director of Fortress Investment Group LLC, a global investment management group and an affiliate of Nationstar’s largest stockholder, FIF HE Holdings LLC, a position he held from February 2008 until February 2012, where he was in charge of the Charlotte, North Carolina office and responsible for the business of the capital formation group in the southeast and southwest regions of the United States. Mr. Malone retired from Bank of America in November 2007, after nearly 24 years of service as Senior Executive Banker and Managing Director. Over those years Mr. Malone worked in and ran a number of investment banking businesses for the bank and its subsidiary, Banc of America Securities LLC, including real estate, gaming, lodging, leisure and the financial sponsors businesses.
